The TNA World title will be on the line this Thursday.

TNA Impact returns this Thursday with another weekly edition on May 21. As usual, Impact airs simultaneously on Thursdays at 9 ET / 8 CT across AMC, AMC+, and TNA+.

Along with the debut of Fabian Aichner (fka Giovanni Vinci), a major title change took place last week, as in the Two Out Of Three Falls match, Cedric Alexander defeated reigning champion Leon Slater to capture the TNA X-Division Champion title.

Speaking of the newly crowned TNA X-Division Champion, Cedric Alexander, along with the rest of the System (Eddie Edwards, Brian Myers, Bear Bronson & Alisha Edwards) faction, will kick off this week’s TNA Impact.

Also, during last week, Daria Rae informed TNA World Champion Mike Santana that Steve Maclin is medically cleared and will challenge him on the May 21 show. This marks Santana’s sixth title defense as his second reign has surpassed 120 days.

Furthermore, Xia Brookside interrupted Lei Ying Lee during last week’s show. Lee challenged her to a match, but Xia refused to compete and called Lee a bitch in Mandarin. After the confrontation, Brookside is now set to face Jada Stone in a singles match.

Meanwhile, Mustafa Ali will continue his TNA International Title open challenge this Thursday. Ali will defend the title for the fifth time against Chazz ‘Starboy’ Hall.
