Rugby U20 7s Asia Cup 2025: Full schedule, fixtures, results, live streaming details

The event will be held in Rajgir, Bihar, on August 9-10.
The Rugby U20 7s Asia Cup 2025 is set to take place on August 9-10 at the Rajgir Sports Complex in Bihar. A total of 16 teams (eight men’s and eight women’s) are taking part in an action-packed two-day affair.
In the men’s category, India, UAE, Hong Kong China, and Sri Lanka form Pool A. Meanwhile, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Malaysia, and China are pitted in Pool B.
Meanwhile, Nepal will replace Malaysia in the women’s category. India is pitted alongside the UAE, Hong Kong China, and Kazakhstan in another pool of the women’s category.
With a single round-robin format in place, all teams will play three games each in the league stage. Then, the top two teams from each pool will advance to the semi-finals.
Sumit Kumar Roy will lead the Indian men’s contingent, with Karan Rajbhar being his deputy. Bhumika Shukla will lead the junior women’s team, and Tanushree Bhosale will serve as the vice-captain.
Interestingly, it will be the first time since 2022 that both the Indian men’s and women’s teams are competing at the continental level.
The Philippines are the defending champions in both categories. In the 2024 edition held in Nepal, they beat Chinese Taipei 27-14 and India 7-5 in the men’s and women’s categories, respectively.
