Father acknowledging talent
The youngsters father, Arvind Jindal, a tax advisor by profession, observed her deep fascination for sports. Consequently, he accompanied her to the shooting range, where her passion ignited further and she diligently engaged in every training session. Despite the absence of a paved pathway leading to the academy, requiring shooters to traverse muddy terrain with their shoes in one hand and equipment in the other, Ramita remained undeterred in the pursuit of her dreams.

Her standing posture surpassed that of the average individual of her age, but she had to refine her wrist positioning. Subsequently, she proceeded to participate in open-sight rifle competitions spanning a distance of 300 meters. Even in the face of the recoil generated by the 300-meter rifle, she demonstrated remarkable proficiency and composure.
