ISSF Junior World Championships 2024 Rifle/Pistol/Shotgun: Updated schedule, results and live streaming details

The ISSF Junior World Championships 2024 Rifle/Pistol/Shotgun is all set to take center stage from September 28 to October 6 at the Las Palmas Shooting Range in Lima, Peru. India will be fielding 61 athletes in the competition, ahead of the USA which has sent 40 shooters.
The Indian delegation will be in action in multiple rifle, pistol, and shotgun events as the competitions will be held across both Olympic and non-Olympic categories. It is worth noting that only shooters under-21 can participate in the ISSF Junior World Championships.

Abhinav Shaw, Naamya Kapoor, Gautami Bhanot, Bhavtegh Singh Gill, Muffaddal Zahra Deesawala, and Shardul Vihan are a few prominent names to look out for at the ISSF Junior World Championships 2024. Shaw and Bhanot won the gold medal at the last year’s tournament in the 10m air rifle mixed team event.
On the other hand, Kapoor is a former world champion in the 25m pistol event, achieved in 2021, and also clinched the gold in the team event in the same edition.

Meanwhile, Bhavtegh Singh Gill and Muffaddal Zahra collected the mixed skeet team bronze at the Junior World Championships 2022 and will hope to deliver a similar feat in the 2024 edition.
The Indian contingent will aim to surpass their previous medal collection earned at the ISSF Junior World Championships 2023, held in Changwon, South Korea, where they finished second in the tally with 17 overall medals, including 5 gold, 7 silver, and 5 bronze medals.
