The Indian contingent will be headlined by Asian Games 2023 silver medalist Anantjeet Singh Naruka and two-time Olympian Mairaj Ahmad Khan. Both are set to vie for medal positions in the men’s skeet and mixed-team skeet events.
The focus will also be on women’s skeet national record holder Ganemat Sekhon, who achieved this feat during the 2023 edition of the ISSF World Cup in the same city by scoring 120/125 in the qualifications. She will aim to replicate a similar level of performance at the final stage of the ISSF World Cup Shotgun for the year 2024.
She will also be joined by Maheshwari Chauhan and Raiza Dhillon in the individual event. In addition, Sekhon and Dhillon will be participating in the mixed skeet team event as they are set to be paired with Naruka and Khan.
In the men’s trap, Bhowneesh Mendiratta, Prithviraj Tondaiman, and Vivaan Kapoor are a few of the prominent names to watch out for at the final ISSF World Cup Shotgun in 2024. Meanwhile, the members of the Asian Games 2023 silver medal winning team Manisha Keer and Rajeshwari Kumari, and the 2018 Commonwealth Games gold medalist in double trap Shreyasi Singh are some top athletes who will feature in the women’s trap individual event.
