WWE outpaces UFC!

TKO Group closed 2025 with record-setting financial momentum, and WWE once again led the charge.

On Wednesday, the company announced that WWE generated $1.709 billion in revenue in 2025, a staggering $311.3 million increase over 2024.

By comparison, UFC brought in $1.502 billion, reflecting a $96.0 million year-over-year gain. While both brands posted growth, WWE clearly outpaced its sister promotion under the TKO umbrella.

Executives tout “meaningful momentum”

“TKO’s 2025 results reflect meaningful momentum across both UFC and WWE,” said Ariel Emanuel, Executive Chair and CEO of TKO, in an official press release.

“Having concluded our second full year since forming TKO, we are extremely well-positioned with long-term media rights agreements in place and operational strength across the business.”

TKO President Mark Shapiro echoed that sentiment, highlighting the company’s expanding global footprint.

“2025 was a milestone year, underscoring the durability of our premium IP through record-setting live events and transformational global partnerships. The successful launch of Zuffa Boxing last month sets the table for even further long-term value creation. With growing revenue, expanding margins, and an increasingly global fan base, TKO is a high-quality execution story with multiple avenues for outperformance.”

WWE’s surge was fueled by a series of landmark moves. The company launched Monday Night RAW on Netflix in January, opening a new era in streaming distribution.

WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas shattered all-time company records, setting a financial benchmark for the industry. Later in the year, WWE held its first-ever two-night SummerSlam at MetLife Stadium, further expanding its premium live event footprint.

The debut of Wrestlepalooza, tied to WWE’s ESPN launch, added another revenue driver.

John Cena’s global retirement tour also played a central role. The farewell run concluded with a sold-out Saturday Night’s Main Event in Washington, D.C., where Cena wrestled his final match against Gunther. That event set an all-time arena gate record for WWE.

Looking ahead, WWE has already run the Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia for the first time and is set to return to Allegiant Stadium for a two-night WrestleMania 42. SummerSlam will head to Minneapolis later this year, signaling continued expansion. With $1.709 billion on the books, WWE’s commercial engine shows no signs of slowing.
