Actor-influencer Akriti recently took to social media to reveal that she has decided to give her relationship with Prithvi Shaw another chance after the couple famously called off their engagement weeks ago.
She made a post on Instagram, which she titled ‘A personal clarification.’ Agarwal claimed that people close to her had influenced her view of her relationship with the 26-year-old cricketer. She also stated that she had been misguided. She wrote:
“When I called off our engagement, I let the opinions of people close to me — who seemed to know our relationship better than we did — influence how I saw my fiancé and our relationship. I feel I was misguided, and I made a decision without giving us the honest conversation we deserved.”
She also revealed that she made her decision without an honest conversation, and later, in her clarification, Agarwal apologized for the hurt she caused and sought understanding. She added further:
I take responsibility for that decision and the hurt it caused. We have since spoken openly, understood each other and chosen to be together again. Together, we are enough for each other, and we don’t need anyone else. This time, I want our future to be guided by our own understanding, trust and love. Please respect our decision as we begin again.”
Shaw also shared the post on his Instagram story with a heart emoji.
