Twitch botting and cheating allegations

Recently, there have been many botting and cheating allegations raised on famous Twitch streamer, TheBurntPeanut.

This gaming streamer, known for his animated peanut-like persona and hyperactive streams, saw tremendous growth in 2025, going from a few hundred concurrent users to tens of thousands by the end of the year.

Such rapid growth and viewcounts have raised many questions about whether he is botting or not. Regarding the accusations, Peanut himself has responded on his latest stream.

TheBurntPeanut responds to botting allegations

During the recent livestream, Peanut has directly responded to the latest botting allegations against him. Here’s what he has to say:

I call viewbotting the loser’s topic, that’s what I call it. You have too many viewers, not even likes? You’re viewbotting. You have too many likes, you’re likebotting. You have too many viewers, you don’t have enough subscribers, you’re viewbotting. Too many viewers, too many subscribers, you’re subscribebotting.

He called this a cope and also told how there is no way that anyone can prove whether they are viewbotting or not. There are a bunch of losers who are coping right now, all together like a party.

He also told about how he switches Brazilian servers, European servers and Oceanic servers & people will still recognize him.

TheBurntPeanut cheating allegations

Some users on X are also calling him out on using cheats in ARC Raiders. This is probably the most useless claim that people are raising against him.

If anyone watches Peanut streams or has seen him play the games, they can immediately say that this guy is not using any hacks. Most of the time, Peanut just gets sh*t on by the enemies, stream snippers and other hackers in ARC Raiders.

It doesn’t take two brain cells to tell that TheBurntPeanut is just good at FPS games, but not that good to call him a cheater.

What are your thoughts on this situation? Do you think he is using viewbots and hacks? Do share your thoughts with us in the comments section.
