WTT Champions Xinxiang 2023 is just one day away and the draw is now set. The complete lineup of matches is pretty much set and we have some titanic clashes headed our way. In the Men's Singles Fan Zhendong comes in as the top seed and will be chasing his first WTT Champions title. The World No.1 heads to Xinxiang having just taken down Singapore Smash so is in a winning mood. Fan will be first up against wildcard Felix Lebrun in the Round of 32.
New World No.2 Wang Chuqin heads to Xinxiang on a career-high ranking. With a WTT Champions title already to his name, and having taken home the silverware at WTT Cup Finals Xinxiang 2022, the lefty won't be settling for anything less than the title. Wang's opening clash will be against World No. 29 Wong Chun Ting.
The rest of the Men's Singles draw is loaded with some huge matchups, including World No.5 Hugo Calderano up against longtime training partner and World No.35 Simon Gauzy, as well as WTT Champions ESS 2022 winner Tomokazu Harimoto taking on the big-hitting Patrick Franziska straight out the gate.
On the other end in the Women's Singles World No.1 Sun Yingsha is coming in blazing. The triple-crown winner at Singapore Smash is sitting on a 16-match singles winning streak. She will look to make another triumphant memory in Xinxiang having won the WTT Cup Finals here last year.
The top seed will face Doo Hoi Kem in the opening round. While in the Women's Singles World No.1 Sun Yingsha is coming in hot. The triple-crown winner at Singapore Smash is sitting on a 16-match singles winning streak. She will look to make more happy memories in Xinxiang having won the WTT Cup Finals here last year.
