ITTF Mixed Team World Cup 2023: Updated schedule, fixtures, results, live streaming details

India is seeded 13th in the competition.
The inaugural edition of the ITTF Mixed Team World Cup 2023 is scheduled to be held from December 4-10 in Chengdu, China. A total of 18 table tennis teams will compete in the prestigious competition with teams divided into five groups. Two groups consist of four teams and the other two groups consist of five teams. Each team has the luxury to register three or four players in men’s and women’s categories respectively.
A unique feature of the competition is that the team to win eight games first will be declared the winner. Also, for the first time individual world ranking points will be awarded to the players. A total of 1000 rankings will be on offer.
India will be led by youngsters Snehit and Archana Kamath with the senior players not participating. Archana recently finished runners-up at the UTT National Table Tennis Championships 2023 losing to Sreeja Akula. Snehit has had a decent run in the doubles event in the WTT circuit.
