WTT Star Contender Goa 2024: Updated schedule ,fixtures, and live Streaming details

This is the 2nd edition of WTT Star Contender event in Goa
The WTT Star Contender Goa 2024, India’s largest table tennis tournament, will return for its second edition in Goa from January 23 to 28. The tournament is one of the six-star Contender series events that only allows the top 30 players in the world to participate, with a minimum of six players from the top 20 in the world rankings.
The tournament offers a prize pool of USD 250,000 and ranking points for the players. It also serves as a qualifier for the WTT Cup Finals and WTT Champions Series.
The first edition of the WTT Star Contender Goa was held last year and featured some of the world’s top players, such as world No. 1 Fan Zhendong, Japanese sensation Tomokazu Harimoto, world No. 4 Wang Yidi, and world No. 5 Hina Hayata. The tournament also had the highest number of Indian players for a WTT event, with 40 participants.
The men’s and women’s singles titles were won by China’s Liang Jingkun and Yidi respectively in the previous edition of the tournament.
The tournament is co-organized by Stupa Sports Analytics and Ultimate Table Tennis under the supervision of TTFI. Nearly 50 Indian players are expected to join the event.
