Jyothi Yarraji, Sumit Antil, Parul Chaudhary make it to Forbes India Under 30 2024 list

All three athletes had record-breaking 2023
Forbes India has released its 11th edition of the 30 Under 30 list, recognizing young achievers who have made significant contributions across diverse fields. The prestigious list features 38 winners in 19 categories, including three Indian athletes who have excelled in their respective sports.
One of them is Parul Chaudhary, a 28-year-old middle-distance runner who specializes in the 3000 metres steeplechase event. She qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympics by breaking the national record at the World Athletics Championships in Budapest in 2024. She clocked 9:15.31, bettering the previous record of 9:19.76 minutes held by Lalita Babar. Chaudhary also bagged the gold medal at the Asian Athletics Championships in 2023 in Bangkok, and the silver medal at the Asian Games in 2022.
Another winner is Jyothi Yarraji, a 24-year-old sprinter who competes in the 100 meters and 200 metres events in Hurdles. She became the first Indian woman to run the 100 metres hurdles in less than 13 seconds when she clocked 12.78 seconds at the FISU World University Games 2023 in Chengdu.
The third athlete is Sumit Antil, a 25-year-old para-athlete who competes in the javelin throw F64 category. He won the gold medal at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics, setting a new world record of 68.55 metres. He also won the gold medal at the 2023 World Para Athletics Championships, with a throw of 70.83 metres. He is the current world number one in his category.
