Ultimate Table Tennis signs long-term partnership with Butterfly to promote young talents

Over the next two years, Butterfly will sponsor four amateur TT tournaments across India.
Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT), India’s premier professional table tennis league, has forged a long-term partnership with one of the world’s biggest table tennis equipment producers – Butterfly, to promote table tennis at the amateur and semi-pro level in India.
The collaboration marks the next step in UTT’s efforts to catalyse the thriving ecosystem for table tennis across the country, one that has witnessed growing participation, structured training pathways, and competitive opportunities for players of all ages.
As part of the partnership, Butterfly will be the title sponsor for four amateur competitive events over the next two years, beginning with the Butterfly Ultimate Table Tennis Challenger Cup, which will be organised by UTT at the JVPG Club, Mumbai, between November 20th and 23rd, 2025.
The tournament will be open to players in the Under-11, Under-13, and Under-15 Boys and Girls singles categories, barring top 2 seeds in Under-11, and top 4 seeds in Under-13 and Under-15 categories from the players’ respective districts.
The event offers an attractive prize purse across events with INR 5,000 for winners, INR 3,000 for runners-up, and INR 1,500 for third place in each division, with medals, trophies, and souvenirs for the players. Interested participants can register for the event here.
In addition to curating the IP with UTT, Butterfly will provide all official competition equipment at the venues, ensuring participants experience world-class standards. The brand will also distribute exclusive player goodies, reinforcing its commitment to nurturing young talent and expanding its footprint in India’s growing TT community.
