ITTF World Youth Championships 2025: Full schedule, fixtures, live streaming details

India’s doubles pair of Divyanshi Bhowmick and Syndrela Das recently became World No. 1 in ITTF Under-19 Girls’ rankings.
The season’s most prestigious youth table tennis event is underway at BT Arena in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, with the ITTF World Youth Championships 2025 running from November 23 to 30. The eight-day event is currently hosting athletes from numerous countries across two age groups, U19 and U15.
The competitions include team events for boys and girls and individual events – boys’ singles, girls’ singles, boys’ doubles, girls’ doubles and mixed doubles in both age categories.
China has historically been the most accomplished nation at this tournament and its previous version, the World Junior Table Tennis Championships, which featured only U18 athletes.
In this edition too, China is expected to live up to its longstanding reputation as a powerhouse in the sport, with the team eyeing the 14 titles up for grabs this week.
India at ITTF World Youth Championships 2025
Meanwhile, India has been on the rise in the sport. Divyanshi Bhowmick, a standout in the junior circuit, became the first Indian in 36 years to win the U15 girls’ singles title at the Asian Youth Table Tennis Championships 2025 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, earlier in July.
She later, along with her doubles partner Syndrela Das, climbed to the World No. 1 spot in the ITTF Under-19 Girls’ Doubles rankings about a month ago.
With Bhowmick competing at the ITTF World Youth Championships, India is expected to contend strongly for medals and stand a promising chance of making the podium.

Before the U18 format was introduced, India’s lone medal at the World Junior Table Tennis Championships was a shared bronze via Soumyajit Ghosh in mixed doubles in 2010.
After the format change, India has benefited from the broader category division by taking its tally to one silver and 6.5 bronze medals in the ITTF World Youth Championships.
