ITTF Mixed Team World Cup 2025: Updated schedule, fixtures, results & live streaming details

India have never gone past Stage 1 in the ITTF Mixed Team World Cup.
Eighth-seed India will field a strong eight-member contingent at the upcoming ITTF Mixed Team World Cup 2025 in Chengdu. The tournament will commence on November 30 and will conclude on December 7, with all matches scheduled to take place at the Sichuan Gymnasium, Chengdu, China.
Hosts China will host the ITTF Mixed Team World Cup 2025 for the third consecutive year, having hosted the last two editions as well. They won both the previous editions, while South Korea bagged the silver medal twice.
16 teams divided into four groups of four teams each will compete for the title in the prestigious team event. Hosts China are drawn in Group 1 alongside Egypt, Hong Kong, and Chile, while India are pitted in the second group with Japan, Australia, and Croatia.
South Korea, Chinese Taipei, Sweden, and the USA form Group 3, while the fourth group includes Germany, France, Romania, and Brazil.
Stage 1 will feature 16 teams divided into four groups of four, with each team playing the others in its group once in a round-robin format. The top two teams from every group will advance to Stage 2 and come together in a single eight-team pool.
In Stage 2, teams will not replay opponents they faced in the opening stage. Instead, the results of those earlier fixtures will be carried forward. Each team will face the remaining opponents once, and at the end of this phase, the top four teams on the standings will qualify for the semi-finals.

Each tie will be played in a first-to-eight games format. While individual matches will follow the standard best-of-three games system, the tie will conclude as soon as a team secures eight games in total. Players who participate in the mixed doubles match cannot compete in the singles matches that follow.
Every team tie will begin with a mixed doubles match, followed by women’s singles and then men’s singles. If required, women’s doubles and men’s doubles matches will be played, with the captain of the lower-ranked team deciding the order of the final two rubbers.
