The WTT Champions Frankfurt 2025 is set to bring world-class table tennis action to Germany from November 4 to 9 at the SĂĽwag Energie ARENA.
A singles-only tournament, this prestigious event features a prize pool of USD 500,000 and vital ranking points, drawing the world’s top-ranked players to compete on one of the sport’s biggest stages.
Led by Brazil’s Hugo Calderano and Japan’s Miwa Harimoto, the tournament features a highly competitive draw with rising stars and established champions from across the globe. With the Chinese stars absent from this edition, the field opens up for European, Japanese, and Asian contenders to battle for the title.
Germany will have strong representation at WTT Champions Frankfurt 2025, with two players seeded in the men’s singles draw.
Leading the home charge is World No. 8 Benedikt Duda, seeded fifth, alongside Dang Qiu (World No. 12), seeded eighth. Both players will look to capitalize on home crowd support and make deep runs in the tournament.
On the women’s side, Japan dominates the seeding with four players in the top four seeds. Miwa Harimoto (World No. 7) leads as top seed, followed by Mima Ito (World No. 9), Hina Hayata (World No. 12), and Satsuki Odo (World No. 13), all entering the tournament as genuine title contenders.
Manav Thakkar, who is currently World No. 39 with 770 points, and Manika Batra, who is currently World No. 52 with 470 points, will represent India at the WTT Champions Frankfurt 2025.
With the event taking place at the SĂĽwag Energie ARENA, players will compete for crucial ranking points and prize money in one of the final major tournaments of the season.
