The WTT Contender Zagreb 2026 is set to bring top-quality table tennis action to Croatia as several of the world’s leading paddlers gather at Arena Zagreb from June 9 to June 14.
The tournament carries a total prize pool of USD 100,000 and offers valuable ranking points as players continue their preparations for the major events later in the season.
The men’s singles draw is headlined by China’s Lin Shidong, currently ranked World No. 5, alongside Germany’s Dang Qiu, China’s Wen Ruibo and Slovenia’s Darko Jorgic. Other notable contenders include Xiang Peng, Dimitrij Ovtcharov, Chen Yuanyu, An Jaehyun and South Korea’s rising star Oh Junsung.
In women’s singles, Japan’s Miwa Harimoto enters as the top seed ahead of Macau’s Zhu Yuling and China’s Chen Yi. Former Japanese national champion Satsuki Odo, Hina Hayata, Egypt’s Hana Goda and Hitomi Sato are also among the leading title contenders.
The doubles events feature several highly-ranked international pairings. Lin Shidong and Huang Youzheng lead the men’s doubles field, while Miwa Harimoto and Satsuki Odo headline the women’s doubles draw. In mixed doubles, Hong Kong China’s Wong Chun Ting and Doo Hoi Kem enter the tournament as the top-seeded pair.
India’s campaign will be led by Manav Thakkar in men’s singles and Sreeja Akula in women’s singles. The country will also be represented by Ankur Bhattacharjee and Payas Jain, Snehit Suravajjula and Manav Thakkar in men’s doubles, while Payas Jain and Syndrela Das will compete in mixed doubles.
