One of the sports is Table Tennis where India has shown tremendous improvement in the past few years. Players like Sharath Kamal and Manika Batra are well-known to the world and because of them, many young talents have taken up table tennis. Ankur Bhattacharjee
Ankur Bhattacharjee is one of the finest young table tennis players in India right now. The young lad is not even 17 right now but has earned fame in the sport way before his best. The 2006-born player has won several contests in the past by beating some of the prominent young players of the sport. Earlier this year, he won the U-17 boys singles final at the Central Zone National Ranking Table Tennis Championship held in Indore. With this amount of talent, Ankur is surely going to be one of the next big things in the world of table tennis.
Deepit Patil
Known as cool and composed, Deepit Patil is about to turn 20 now, but he had already shown his class around four years back when he won the Junior Boys Title in the 11Sports National Ranking Table Tennis Championships in 2018. In 2021, the 19-year-old won the Jr. Boys Singles title at the Dr Ramesh Prabhoo Memorial 82nd Maharashtra State Table Tennis Championship organized by The Suburban District Table Tennis Association (TSTTA). It is still the early years for Deepit as the young paddler looks to dominate the world.
Jash Modi
Jash Modi is one of the finest talents in the country right now. The young gun won U-19 boys singles crown in the RYP-Dr. Ramesh Yashwant Prabhoo Memorial 1sr Maharashtra State Ranking Table Tennis Tournament 2021-2022, conducted by TSTTA. What makes this young paddler even more amazing is that he is way better in academics too. Player like Jash Modi is a future star of India who will surely make his nation proud just like the maestro Sharath Kamal. Jash has achieved a lot at even before the age of 18. Imagine how good he would be in his mid 20s.
Yashansh Malik
Delhi's Yashansh Mailk emerged as the winner of the Youth Boys Singles trophy in 2019 and he was unstoppable after that. Recently, he won the bronze medal in U-19 Boys Doubles at the ITTF 2022 Asian Junior & Cadet Championships. That's not the end, as the young talent has won several other titles in his career so far. Malik would surely want to continue his dominant performances in the future to become a star player like Sharath Kamal.
Payas Jain
Payas Jain is the best junior table tennis player right now with some exceptional records to his name. The unstoppable star lost 18 kilos during the pandemic and gave results in 2021 by winning three international titles. In 2021, he became the best U-17 table tennis player in the world. Payas plays like an experienced senior at this early age and his skills are unmatchable sometimes. Just like top table tennis players including Manika Batra and Sharath Kamal, Payas is too not far away to join them in the senior squad.
