This will be Ahmedabad SG Pipers’ second appearance in Ultimate Table Tennis.

Hosts Ahmedabad SG Pipers have set their sights on the silverware after failing to get their hands on the Ultimate Table Tennis trophy last season. They will be up against Dempo Goa Challengers in Match 2 of the Ultimate Table Tennis 2025 on Saturday (May 31) at the EKA Arena in Ahmedabad.

The Pipers have built a formidable squad without re-signing a single player from their previous season’s squad. They have snapped up the services of Manika Batra and Snehit Suravajjula, who’ll hold the key for the franchise in the upcoming season. The Ahmedabad-based franchise also roped in overseas players Ricardo Walther and Giorgia Piccolin for the sixth season of the tournament.

Their biggest miss would be Manush Shah, who opted out of the 2025 edition of Ultimate Table Tennis.

Ahmedabad SG Pipers’ performance in Ultimate Table Tennis

SG Pipers finished their maiden Ultimate Table Tennis season as semi-finalists, losing to Dabang Delhi TTC in the second semi-final by an 8-6 margin. They were second in the points table after the group stage with 42 points, including 17 matches and three ties won.
