10- Ivo Karlovic

The list begins with the name that dominates it the most — Ivo Karlovic. This match was on 25 May 2009 between Ivo Karlovic and Lleyton Hewitt. This match was at Roland Garros on a clay surface. The match was a round of 128.

Karlovic was unfortunate in this match as well, as Lleyton Hewitt defeated him. In this match, he served 55 aces. The match ended with the score 6-7(1), 6-7(4), 7-6(4), 6-4, and 6-3.

9- Albano Olivetti

Albano Olivetti is on the ninth spot in the list of the top 10 players with the most aces in a single Grand Slam match. Olivetti faced Australian Matthew Barton in his match. The match was on 27 June 2016 in the round of 128 of Wimbledon.

Although Olivetti made it into the record books, he was unable to win the match. In this match, Olivetti served 56 aces. The final scoreline was 6-7(7), 7-6(5), 6-3, 6-7(5), and 14-12.

8- Ivo Karlovic

Ivo Karlovic makes another entry in the list of the top 10 players with the most aces scored in a single Grand Slam match. This is one of Karlovic’s most recent matches in which he scored 59 aces. This match was on 14 January 2019 in the Australian Open. The opponent of Karlovic in this match was Japanese Kei Nishikori.

This was a second-round match of 64-one and was played on the hard lawn of the Australian Open. Although it was such a long match and Karlovic got so many aces he lost to Nishikori. The score of the game was 6-3, 7-6(6), 5-7, 5-7, and 7-5(6).

7- Ivo Karlovic

Ivo Karlovic is one who ranks seventh on this list as well. It is Karlovic’s name popping up for the third time. This match was on 29 August 2016 on the hard court of the US Open. In this match, the opponent of Karlovic was Yen Hsun Lu.

This is John Isner’s second-highest ace count in a Grand Slam match in this list of most aces in a single Grand Slam match. This was a round of 64 matches between John Isner and Ruben Bemelmans. The match was in Wimbledon on 2 July 2018 which makes this John’s latest entry.

However, in this match, John Isner served 64 aces in total. Isner won the match with a scoreline of 6-1, 6-4, 6-7(6), 6-7(3), and 7-5.

4- Reilly Opelka

In the 2019 Australian Open, Reilly Opelka recorded the fourth-highest number of aces in a single Grand Slam match. In this match, Opelka faced Italian Thomas Fabbiano. The match was on 14 January 2019 and it was a round of 64 matches.

Reilly Opelka served a total of 67 aces to get on this list. However, Opelka despite serving so many aces lost the match to Fabbiano. Moreover, this is one of the most recent entries in this list. The score of the match was 6-7(15), 6-2, 6-4, 3-6, and 7-6(5).

3- Ivo Karlovic

Ivo Karlovic is the one who comes in the third spot in the list of most aces scored in a single Grand Slam match. In this match, Ivo Karlovic scored a total of 75 aces. The match was a round of 128 in the Australian Open which was played between Ivo Karlovic and Horacio Zeballos on 16 January 2017.

Karlovic was the winner of this match and he dominates this list with five entries among the top 10. The match was on the hard Australian Open lawn. The score at the end of the match was 6-7(6), 3-6, 7-5, 6-2, and 22-20.

John Isner faced Frenchman Nicolas Mahut in the round of 128. The match between the two lasted three days in which many records were broken, both in tennis and at Wimbledon. Among such records which were broken was the record of most aces in a single match. However, in this match, Isner served a total of 113 aces and was the ultimate winner of the match. The score of the match was 6-4, 3-6, 6-7(7), 7-6(3), and 70-68.
