India’s number-one-ranked women’s tennis player Ankita Raina will spearhead the contingent.

Uzbekistan is set to host the Billie Jean King Cup (Asia/Oceania) Group I matches from 11 April 2023 to 15 April 2023. Six teams consisting of China, South Korea, India, Japan, Thailand, and Uzbekistan are set to take part in the prestigious women’s tennis tournament.

The Indian team finished third in the previous edition and this time will look to go a step further and progress to the qualifiers.
