The first grand slam meeting betweeen Sinner and Medvedev took place in the final of Australian Open 2024. Sinner won the epic battle after losing the first two sets and clinched his first grand slam title. The brutal encounter lasted for three hours and 44 minutes. Sinner came back from the brink as Medvedev suffered a heartbreaking loss.
Their second grand slam meeting came in Wimbledon 2024 which was their first grass court clash. The quarterfinal clash witnessed Medvedev avenging in perfect fashion as he staged a comeback after losing the first set.
