Kansas City overcame a 10-point deficit to defeat San Francisco 49ers
A nailbiting finish decided the winner of Super Bowl 58 at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The Kansas City Chiefs (Home) overcame a 10-point deficit to defeat the San Francisco 49ers (Away) 25-22 in Super Bowl 58 to become the first back-to-back Super Bowl champions since the New England Patriots in 2004 and 2005.
The Chiefs took home the Vince Lombardi trophy for the second year in a row with a come-from-behind win against the 49ers. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes rallied his team to bounce back after being dominated by San Francisco in the first half. Pop star Taylor Swift, who is Travis Kelce’s girlfriend, was present to watch Kelce lift the trophy.
The Kansas City Chiefs won Super Bowl 57 with a similar scoreline against the Philadelphia Eagles, beating them 38-35 in Arizona in 2023.
Tennis players Coco Gauff, Jessica Pegula, and Serena Williams decided to direct their attention to other pop-culture icons. The trio took to social media to laud Usher’s halftime performance.
The eight-time Grammy Award winner and R&B singer took the stage and delighted the audience by performing some of his biggest hits, including “Love in This Club” and “Caught Up.” Usher invited on the stage guest artists H.E.R., Jermaine Dupri, Lil Jon, and Ludacris, along with a cameo by Alicia Keys.
Jessica Pegula, at 29, is among the millennials on the WTA Tour who had good things to say about the singer and the guest stars accompanying him on stage. The Buffalo native gave the halftime show a 10/10, appreciating the inclusion of Alicia Keys, Ludacris, and Lil Jon.

Gauff had another fan-girl moment when Beyoncé appeared on a Verizon commercial at halftime and announced a follow-up to her 2022 album “Renaissance,” titled “Renaissance: Act II”, which will drop on March 29th.
Serena Williams tagged Usher on X with a tongue-in-cheek comment calling his performance “Usher time.”
