Stefanos Tsitsipas is ranked 11th in the race to ATP Finals 2024.

Stefanos Tsitsipas will be ending the season earlier than usual this time as he will not be competing in ATP Finals 2024. His hopes ended after having lost to Alexander Zverev in the quarterfinals of the ATP Paris Masters 2024. With only three spots remaining in Turin, fans will not see the former champion in action this year. Tsitsipas could now end his season in either Belgrade Open or Moselle Open.

The Greek player could have had a shot to book his tickets to Turin if he had reached the finals or clinched the title in Paris. But now his hopes will be to end the season with a few crucial wins or call it a day and prepare for the 2025 season. Even though he had secured 45 wins in 67 matches so far this season it proved to be insufficient to gain a spot in ATP Finals 2024.

Tsitsipas made his debut in the season ending championship in 2019 and went on to win the title. He is the first player to win both the ATP Finals and Next Gen ATP Finals. Tsitsipas won the latter in 2018 at the age of 18. He is one of the few teenagers to have won the ATP Finals.

The consistency of Tsitsipas witnessed him featuring in the event in every edition since 2019 and was looking to qualify for the sixth consecutive year this time. Tsitsipas is currently in 11th position with 3,165 points for the race to Turin which confirms his elimination from the event. The 26-year-old will look to utilize the break to start the 2025 season on a winning note.

With only a few weeks to go before the ATP tour officially ends, players will be either preparing for the next event or will be taking a much needed break from the hectic season. There has been no official announcement regarding where and when Tsitsipas will play his next match. As of now his name has not been featured in the Belgrade or Moselle Open.

With Greece not qualifying for the Davis Cup Finals, Tsitsipas will be ending the 2024 season before November second week. The world No# 11 will aim to regain an entry in to the top ten of the rankings in 2025.
