Official ATP and WTA tours game 'TIEBREAK' releases on PC via Early Access

The official game of the ATP and WTA tours, named TIEBREAK, has been made available for gamers with early access on PC. Moreover, the game is expected to be released later this year on all platforms, such as PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.

The official announcement for the game was made last year. However, no information about the release date or features was provided to the gaming community. Nevertheless, as per the WTA, the game will feature more than a hundred tennis stars, and the game is expected to give a better experience to the general public.

The cover of the game, TIEBREAK, is headlined by ATP World No. 1 Novak Djokovic and American tennis star and current WTA WR-3 Coco Gauff.

Providing information about the game, WTA wrote on their official X (formerly Twitter) account): “TIEBREAK: The official game of the ATP & WTA Tours. Featuring a roster of more than 100 professional players – the most to ever grace a tennis game. Available on Early Access for PC (Steam) and scheduled for later this year on PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch!”

The tennis stars are currently getting geared up for the upcoming Roland Garros, which will commence on May 26. However, before the clay-court Grand Slam, two ATP & WTA 1000 events, the Madrid Open and the Italian Open, will also be taking place. The first list for the 2024 French Open was announced on April 16.

As of now, a couple of action-packed matches are set to take place. On April 21, the final of the Barcelona Open will be played between Casper Ruud/Tomás Etcheverry and Stefanos Tsitsipas/Dušan Lajović.

Moreover, the men’s singles and doubles finals of the Bavarian International Tennis Championships will also take place on the same day. The finals of the Stuttgart Open are also scheduled to take place on Sunday.
