Aryna Sabalenka vs Mirra Andreeva prediction, betting tips & odds, head-to-head, preview: Australian Open 2025

Andreeva faces Sabalenka for the second time this season.
Teen sensation Mirra Andreeva is playing the Australian Open 2025 as a seeded player. She was unseeded last year during her quarter-final run in Melbourne. She lost to World No. #11 Barbora Krejcikova after squandering a one-set to nil lead.
Andreeva is now in her second straight round of 16 appearance, where she will face defending champion Aryna Sabalenka for a spot in the last eight. The Russian teenager let her third-round opponent, Magdalena Frech, back into the match when she lost the second set 1-6. Andreeva managed to hold her nerve for a 6-2, 1-6, 6-2 to progress.
Sabalenka is in excellent form and is yet to drop a set in her first three matches. The Belarusian was pushed into a first-set tie-break by Clara Tauson but quelled the Dane’s charge to come out on top. Sabalenka defeated Tauson 7-6(5), 6-4, in 2 hours and six minutes. It was the longest match for the World No. #1 at this stage of the event.
Sabalenka is in Melbourne after winning the Brisbane International for the second time in three years. She did not drop a set in Brisbane until her final against Polina Kudermetova. It was the second Russian she defeated on the way to the trophy after Mirra Andreeva in the last four.

Mirra Andreeva finds herself in a second straight fourth-round appearance a week after reaching her career-high ranking of No. #15 on the WTA tour.
