Danielle Collins’ dog Mr. Q has become a popular figure at US Open 2025.

American tennis star Danielle Collins may be fighting tough on court, but it’s her dog Quincy who is truly living the dream at US Open 2025. From gourmet meals to gifts, the pup is enjoying his days better than many of us.

Collins, paired with Christian Harrison, received a last-minute call to join the revamped US Open mixed doubles event, stepping in for Jannik Sinner and Katerina Siniakova.

The pair grabbed the opportunity with both hands. They first defeated Alexander Zverev and Belinda Bencic 4-0, 5-3 in the round of 16, and then knocked out Ben Shelton and Taylor Townsend in the quarter-finals to book a semi-final clash with Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori.

But Collins’ tennis journey in New York has not been the only talk of the town, her dog Quincy’s adventure has been equally headline-worthy.

“US Open has been hooking him up. He got a wonderful scarf as a welcome gift. He got a Yeti dog bowl and what else?” Danielle Collins said in her post-match interview.

The spoiling didn’t end there. “He’s been eating salmon and sweet potatoes. The wonderful chefs upstairs, they’ve been making him some nice meals. He had bacon and eggs for breakfast today,” She revealed,

And then she teased on what might be next for her dog. “So what’s it going to be tonight, Quincy? Is it gonna be surf and turf? What’s it gonna be? So we’re getting spoiled here. And so is he.”

Quincy also crashed Collins’ press conference after a match, strolling around Interview Room 1. “I’ve had him since he was eight weeks old,” Collins said in the interaction.

“He’s five and a half now. He’s still my baby. I don’t believe it when people tell me with dog years it’s like, seven for every year. I cannot grasp the fact that he’s technically like a 35-year-old man. It’s just not true. I don’t believe it!”

For Collins, Quincy isn’t just a pet, he’s family and has always been spotted on tennis courts watching her matches from the stands or appear in pre match shoots.

“Quincy is a dignified gentleman,” she added with a smile. “He’s a sophisticated gentleman and that’s how I’d like for you to refer to him. He’s so sophisticated!”
