In April, Nadal also attended Real Madrid’s league clash against arch-rivals, Barcelona at Santiago Bernabeu. Los Blancos won the match 3-2 with the help of a stoppage-time goal from Jude Bellingham. However, the 14-time French Open winner’s uncle, Miguel Ángel Nadal, used to play for Barcelona.
Rafael Nadal also loved playing football as a child, but he eventually decided to pursue a career in tennis. Thus, the Spanish national team found the perfect opportunity to allow the 38-year-old to announce their squad for the upcoming Euros.
