Aryna Sabalenka will face Japanâs Moyuka Uchijima in the second round at the 2024 French Open.
The official social media account of the French Open recently uploaded a short video clip of Aryna Sabalenka, where the Belarusian tennis star can be seen dancing with the ball kids.
Apart from her aggressive and powerful backhands on the court, Aryna Sabalenka is also famous for her dance moves off the court. Earlier this year, at the Australian Open, the Belarusian tennis star caught the tennis worldâs attention after a video of her dancing on the court surfaced online.
Sabalenka also danced similarly after she won the 2024 Australian Open in dominant style. Since then, the 26-year-old has been spotted dancing at several tournaments during practice and after winning matches.
Similarly, Aryna Sabalenka recreated her Australian Open moves at the 2024 Roland-Garros to Pitbullâs song, âFireball,â alongside ball kids, who also seemed to enjoy the action. Here is the video:
The World No. 2 is one of the most ferocious players on the Tour, but she never misses an opportunity to do fun activities like playing quizzes, dancing and spending time with her coaching staff. Last week, she also uploaded a video of herself grooving to the music alongside her team before the start of the 2024 French Open.
Sabalenka reached the finals of the Madrid Open and the Italian Open earlier this season. However, she suffered a loss against World No. 1 Iga Swiatek on both occasions. Considering her current form on the red dirt, sheâs one of the favourites to reach the final of the clay court major from the bottom section.
With that being said, tennis enthusiasts can expect a third final between Aryan Sabalenka and Iga Swiatek in the 2024 clay season. The 26-year-old started her Roland-Garros campaign with a comfortable 6-1, 6-2 victory over Russiaâs Erika Andreeva. Next, she will face Japanâs Moyuka Uchijima in the second round at the clay court Grand Slam.
