Prize money Breakdown
The total prize pool for the 2025 French Open stands at $61.2 million (approx. ₹511 crore), reflecting a 5.37% increase from 2024. This year’s singles champions will take home 6.25% more than last year’s winners. The runner-up too will enjoy a significant reward of $1.38 million (approx. ₹11.5 crore), up by 6.25% compared to twelve months ago.
All main draw and qualifying rounds have seen similar pay hikes. For instance, first-round losers will now receive $84,850 (approx. ₹71 lakh), a 6.85% increase from 2024. Notably, the French Open continues its commitment to equal prize money for both men’s and women’s events across all stages of the tournament.
