Five-time Grand Slam champion Iga Swiatek recently took to social media and uploaded a picture with a letter. The letter was given to her by American pop singer Taylor Swift.

Taylor Swift recently had a concert in Edinburgh, Scotland. The concert was attended by several top celebrities and famous people across different industries. One such famous person who attended the concert was Polish tennis star Iga Swiatek.

As per reports, the concert was attended by more than 73,000 fans. Swiatek herself has always been a huge fan of Taylor Swift. The WTA World No. #1 has mentioned the American pop singer in her press conferences and interviews.

Moreover, she has also been spotted listening to Swift’s music and dancing to it. Before the 2024 French Open, Swiatek also revealed that she was constantly listening to Taylor Swift’s new album, ‘The Tortured Poets Department’. After the concert, Swift also met Swiatek and gave the four-time French Open champion a letter.

It read, “Iga, congratulations on winning the French Open.” Iga Swiatek also shared the picture of the letter on social media and wrote, “Dead. Yes, I cried many times during the show. Yes, it was incredible. You are amazing. @taylorswift13.”

Last week, the Pole defeated Italy’s Jasmine Paolini in the final of the 2024 French Open to win her third consecutive Roland Garros title. Swiatek exhibited her prowess on clay, as she’s currently on a 19-match unbeaten streak on the WTA tour.
