Mirra Andreeva defeated a formidable list of players to win her second WTA-1000 title.

Mirra Andreeva continued her sensational unbeaten streak, by winning the Indian Wells Open 2025. The Russian staged a stunning comeback in the final, to down Aryna Sabalenka in straight sets. This is her second consecutive triumph, following her achievement at the Dubai Tennis Championships.

Andreeva’s route to glory was never an easy one, filled with star-studded players. However, the likes of Iga Swiatek and Elena Rybakina, who are both previous winners in Tennis Paradise, were unable to get the better of the Russian. The Kazakh in particular, was hammered and handed her worst ever defeat since 2019.

Sabalenka finished as the runner-up in the desert for the second time, marking her second final loss this year. Meanwhile, the 17-year-old showcased remarkable composure and an all-around game, proving she is wise beyond her years.
