After a year-long romance, Jannik Sinner and Kalinskaya have reportedly split.
Jannik Sinner and Anna Kalinskaya were one of tennis’s most admired couples in 2024, with both stars thriving on and off the court. Known for their quiet yet visible support for each other during matches, the pair publicly confirmed their relationship at the French Open in May 2024. At the time, Sinner stated, “Yes, I’m with Anna, but we keep everything very confidential. I won’t say more.”
Having begun dating in April 2024, speculation about a possible split has intensified following recent developments. By the end of 2024, their relationship seemed to cool off, with breakup rumors gaining momentum after the pair unfollowed each other on social media.
Adding to the curiosity, Kalinskaya was notably absent from Sinner’s player box during the 2025 Australian Open. However, it’s important to note that neither Jannik Sinner nor Anna Kalinskaya has officially confirmed the breakup.
Italian magazine Chi unofficially confirmed rumors of Jannik Sinner’s split from former girlfriend Anna Kalinskaya after the tennis star was seen in Monte Carlo with model Lara Lieto, where he is currently preparing for his tennis comeback.
Lieto is a 31-year-old Russian model, and has previously made appearances in prestigious magazines such as Vogue and L’Officiel. The Russian model previously attracted media attention for her long-term relationship with two-time Oscar winner Adrien Brody, with the pair reportedly dating from 2012 to 2018.
Lieto’s presence among the spectators in Monte Carlo initially drew some curiosity, but speculation intensified when she warmly embraced Sinner following his training session. The two were later spotted leaving together, further amplifying rumors of a blossoming relationship.
Despite serving a three-month suspension that has kept him off the court, Jannik Sinner continues to dominate headlines. The Italian star is set to make his much-anticipated return at the 2025 Italian Open, where he’ll begin his title defense. Remarkably, even after his extended absence, Sinner retains his World No #1 ranking, a testament to how far ahead he is of the rest of the field.
