How does top 10 of ATP rankings look after Wimbledon 2026?
Alexander Zverev displaces Carlos Alcaraz for the World No. 2 ranking.
Jannik Sinner successfully defended his Wimbledon crown to extend his stay at the top as the World No. 1. The Italian beat Alexander Zverev after coming from a set down to reassert his credentials as the best player on tour.
Despite the defeat, the German reclaimed the World No. 2 ranking after an incredible run at both the Roland Garros and Wimbledon. Zverev currently leads Carlos Alcaraz by only 320 points, but the Spaniard’s return date is uncertain, giving Zverev an opportunity to further increase his lead.
Alex de Minaur reached a new career high of World No. 5 despite losing in the fourth round. Ben Shelton slipped to #6 after a shocking opening round exit.
For the second consecutive year, Novak Djokovic lost to Sinner in the Wimbledon semi-finals, as a result of which he finds himself at #7. With the Serbian unlikely to play any tournament prior to the US Open, he stares at potentially leaving the top-10, if his closest rivals enjoys a decent run during the North American swing.
Wildcard Arthur Fery, who stunned everyone with a historic semi-final finish, jumped 78 places to World No. 36. Quarter-finalist Jan-Lennard Struff also rose 33 places to enter the top-50.
