Except for his last appearance at the Monte Carlo Masters, Medvedev has been exceptional in his performance in the 2024 season. Before entering the Madrid Open, he entered the quarter-final of the Barcelona Open by winning three successive matches. His campaign ended with a loss against Casper Ruud.
