Mirra Andreeva vs Elena Rybakina: Head-to-head record

Mirra Andreeva is one step ahead of Elena Rybakina in head-to-head.
When Mirra Andreeva burst onto the tennis scene in 2024 at 16 by reaching the French Open semifinals, no one expected her to challenge established stars so soon. Her rise to the top 10 by 2025 has been incredible and now she’s the youngest WTA 1000 champion in Dubai.
Elena Rybakina had already won Wimbledon and had a powerful game that suited all surfaces. She seemed unbeatable to newcomers. Rybakina’s innate power, majorly her serve, made her a fixture in the late stages of the majors.
Their rivalry started to heat up during the 2025 Middle Eastern swing where Andreeva showed incredible composure to beat Rybakina in 3 sets. Then in the USA at Indian Wells, she backed up her win.
What makes this match so interesting is its contrast: Rybakina’s power-hitting vs Andreeva’s tactical maturity for her age. Rybakina tries to end points quickly with her flat groundstrokes and serving, but Mirra Andreeva can absorb the pace and redirect it.

The Andreeva-Rybakina rivalry has been one to watch since it began in 2023 at the China Open. And what was a surprise then, 16-year-old (then) Andreeva had Rybakina on the ropes, leading 6-2, 4-2. But the experienced former Wimbledon champ didn’t give up and mounted an impressive comeback to win 10 of the final 11 games.
Fast forward to the Dubai Duty Free Championships, and wow, what a turnaround! Andreeva had no regrets as she stunned everyone by beating Rybakina 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 to reach her first WTA 1000 final. Honestly, it was remarkable how she rallied from 1-3 down in the final set.
Perhaps most surprisingly, their third meeting, in Indian Wells, was devastating. Andreeva, now ranked in the Top 10 after winning Dubai, absolutely thundered past Rybakina 6-1, 6-2 in just 64 minutes despite rain delays.
