Novak Djokovic has won a total of 101 ATP-level titles in his professional career.

Earlier this year, Novak Djokovic became only the third player in the Open Era to win 100 or more ATP-level titles. The Serbian tennis star has added another title to his illustrious trophy cabinet by winning the newly inaugurated Hellenic Championships in Athens, Greece.

He played a three-set thriller against Lorenzo Musetti and recorded a memorable victory by completing a comeback. Winning his 101st ATP-level title has helped the Serbian tennis star inch closer to Roger Federer’s record of 103 titles. However, the 38-year-old is quite far from Jimmy Connors’ record of 109 titles.

Nevertheless, he has become the most decorated hardcourt player in the Open Era. With his memorable victory in Athens, the Serb has left behind Swiss Maestro Roger Federer‘s mammoth total of 71 hardcourt titles.

Moreover, Novak Djokovic has also become the oldest player to win a title on the ATP tour since 1990. Earlier, the record was held by French tennis player Gael Monfils, who defeated Zizou Bergs to win the Auckland Open in January, earlier this year.

However, Djokovic, who leads Monfils 20-0 in their head-to-head record, was quick to dethrone the Frenchman from another feat.

Interestingly, Monfils was 38 years and 132 days old during his triumph in Auckland, surpassing Roger Federer’s record of 38 years and 74 days, which he set while winning in Basel in 2019.

Djokovic has also withdrawn from the ATP Finals. The Serbian tennis star is already the most decorated player in the year-end competition’s history with seven titles to his name, one more than his former arch-rival Roger Federer.

Prior to the formation of the ATP Tour in 1990, the record was held by Pancho Gonzalez, who was 44 years, 7 months and 4 days old when he won in Kingston in 1972.

Apart from these records, Djokovic has won the most Grand Slam titles (24), played the most finals (37), made the most semifinal appearances (53), and also featured in the most quarterfinals (64) in history. Even in 2025, he reached the semifinals of the men’s singles event of all four Grand Slams.

The 24-time Grand Slam champion has consistently proven his worth with his experience and reliability at the age of 38. Addressing his retirement, the Serbian tennis star has revealed that he’s looking forward to continuing to play until the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

Djokovic has shown the desire to retire while holding the Serbian flag. He said during a recent press conference. “I want to retire at the Olympics in 2028 holding the Serbian flag.”
