Novak Djokovic and Jelena Djokovic got married in Montenegro in 2014.

Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic recently took to Instagram and wished his wife, Jelena Djokovic, a happy birthday.

On the occasion of her birthday, the ATP World No. #1 uploaded a picture alongside her on his social media account. He captioned the picture, “Happy birthday to my greatest wife, mother, friend, partner, teacher, leader, inspiration I could wish for. My doubles partner for life, Jelena.”

Jelena Djokovic also shared a video clip on her Instagram story where the couple can be seen dancing together.

Recently, Jelena Djokovic was spotted cheering and supporting the 24-time Grand Slam champion at the 2024 French Open. Jelena supported her husband throughout the fourth-round match of the 2024 Roland Garros, where he faced Francisco Cerundolo.

However, Djokovic later announced his withdrawal from the second Grand Slam of the season. He revealed that he has been suffering from a minor knee injury for a long time. Nevertheless, his injury flared when he slipped during the second set against Francisco Cerundolo.

The Serb underwent an immediate surgical procedure for the meniscus tear in his right knee in Paris on Wednesday, a couple of weeks ago. It was stated earlier that Novak Djokovic would miss at least three weeks of action. However, the Serb has already started working out, and he also shared a video clip from his practice routine on Instagram.

As per several reports, it was stated that Novak Djokovic would miss the upcoming 2024 French Open and prepare for the Paris Olympics. However, it seems like the Serb would successfully make his return to the grass court Major before the Paris Games.

With the withdrawal from the French Open, Djokovic lost his first spot in the ATP rankings. Italian tennis star Jannik Sinner became the new ATP World No. 1, while Carlos Alcaraz overtook the Serb to take the No. 2 spot.
