Karolina Muchova won the biggest title of her career at WTA Qatar Open 2026.

Karolína Muchová finally ended her long wait for a major title by lifting the Qatar Open 2026 trophy in Doha, claiming her first WTA 1000 crown and her first title since 2019.

The Czech produced a composed and tactically sharp performance in the final, defeating Victoria Mboko 6–4, 7–5, using her trademark variety, net play, and experience to control key moments of the match.

The victory marked a significant milestone in Muchová’s career, coming after several near-misses at the biggest level, including losses in previous WTA 1000 and Grand Slam finals. Despite finishing runner-up, Victoria Mboko’s run in Doha was a breakthrough moment for the 19-year-old Canadian.

Reaching her second WTA-1000 final highlighted her rapid rise, with her powerful baseline hitting and fearless approach, with wins over Grand Slam champions like Elena Rybakina, Jelena Ostapenko and fifth seed Mirra Andreeva.
