Rafael Nadal last played at the 2024 French Open against Germany’s Alexander Zverev.

Spanish tennis star Rafael Nadal recently took to social media and uploaded a picture with his wife, Maria Francisca Perello.

Rafael Nadal is currently in Greece, preparing for the 2024 Paris Olympics. The 22-time Grand Slam champion has uploaded a few glimpses of his practice on his official Instagram account too.

Apart from practicing, Nadal has also been seen doing fun activities such as tree climbing and traveling on ships. Recently, he was seen giving a piggyback ride to his son, Rafa Jr., at Sani Resort in Halkidiki, Greece.

Later, he also uploaded a video on his Instagram account, where he cooked and served rice broth at the Rafa Nadal Academy in Greece. He captioned the video, “Today, on the day of rest… Rice broth (Mallorcan style) for team and family.”

Nevertheless, he has also uploaded an adorable picture with his wife, Maria Francisca Perello. The post garnered more than a million likes in one hour, and the picture has now crossed more than four million likes and two thousand comments.

Rafael Nadal and Maria Francisca Perello have known each other since childhood. They grew up together in Palma de Majora, Spain, and started dating in 2005. After over a decade of being together, they tied the knot in October 2019 at Majorca’s La Fortaleza castle.

Around 350 guests were invited to the wedding, including the top names of Tom Hiddleston, Olivia Colman, Hugh Laurie and even the former king of Spain, Juan Carlos I. In October 2022, Rafael Nadal and Maria Francisca Perello welcomed their son.

Nadal, who returned to action at the ATP 500 Barcelona Open after a prolonged hiatus, will next play at the Busted Open. The Spaniard’s wife and son have attended all his matches since his return to the sport in April. Thus, they are also expected to support the 14-time French Open champion at the 2024 Bustud Open and the Paris Olympics.
