Roger Federer 103 titles: Breakdown by opponents, cities, tournaments

Roger Federer boasts an impressive collection of 103 titles, including 22 Grand Slams.
On 28th October 2019, Roger Federer became the second man in ATP history to reach the milestone of 100 or more singles titles, joining Jimmy Connors (109) in this exclusive club. Federer ultimately finished his career with 103 ATP singles titles, a record that stood as the benchmark for modern greatness until Novak Djokovic joined the centurion club in 2025.
The Swiss maestro’s 103rd and final title came at his beloved hometown event in Basel, where he defeated Alex de Minaur 6–2, 6–2 in a commanding performance. Federer’s journey began nearly two decades earlier, when the 19-year-old claimed his maiden ATP title in Milan in February 2001.
Facing Frenchman Julien Boutter, Federer prevailed 6–4, 6–7(7), 6–4, marking the start of one of the most illustrious careers in tennis history.
He won at least one ATP title in 19 consecutive seasons (2001–2019), a testament to his enduring excellence. Federer’s first Masters 1000 triumph came in Hamburg in 2002, where he downed Marat Safin. A year later, he captured his first Grand Slam at Wimbledon, overcoming Mark Philippoussis in straight sets.
The 2006 season was perhaps Federer’s finest, as he captured 12 tour-level titles, including three Grand Slams and four Masters 1000 crowns. He repeated double-digit title hauls in 2004 and 2005, cementing his dominance over the men’s game.
While he might have ended with the fewest major titles among the ‘Big 3’, his impact on the tennis fraternity extends beyond numbers and statistics, with a legacy built on the adoration he earned from fans worldwide for his aesthetic gameplay and generous nature off the court.
