WTA Singapore Open 2026: Updated schedule, fixtures, results, & live streaming details

The Singapore Open has been upgraded to a WTA 500 event this season.

A stacked line-up is heading to Southeast Asia for the revamped Singapore Open 2026, now a WTA 500 event. The WTA season enters its home stretch with the Asian swing at the OCBC Arena.

French Open champion Mirra Andreeva is the top seed after USA’s Jessica Pegula withdrew. USA’s Amanda Anisimova, Philippines’ Alexandra Eala and Belgium’s Elise Mertens round off the top four seeds and have all received opening-round byes.

Pegula is one of nine withdrawals from the WTA 500 event, including Diana Shnaider, Sorana Cirstea and Sara Bejlek. Clara Tauson, Ekaterina Alexandrova and Anastasia Potapova are the other noteworthy names sidelined from the event.

Jessica Pegula reached the US Open semi-finals for the second consecutive year and currently sits at a career-high World No. 3 in the WTA Rankings.

Andreeva and Mertens, both placed in the top half of the draw, are projected to meet in the semi-finals. In the bottom half, Amanda Anisimova and Alexandra Eala are on course for a potential last-four showdown.

Alongside the Korea Open, the tournament is one of two WTA 500 events serving as key tune-up competitions ahead of the season’s final two WTA 1000 events in Beijing and Wuhan.

Five-time WTA title winner Leylah Fernandez has accepted a wildcard into the event and enters as the sixth seed, with the potential to upset some of the leading contenders in the top half of the draw.

The fifth seed Maja Chwalinska also lurks in the top half of the draw. A resurgent Maria Sakkari and Donna Vekic add intrigue to the draw’s bottom half.
