Last December, Alex de Minaur and Katie Boulter announced their engagement, while this year, three more tennis stars have got ready to tie the knot. Thus, here is the list of three players who got engaged in 2025.

Cameron Norrie

British tennis star Cameron Norrie took to social media to make the fortunate announcement about his engagement with Louise Jacobi.

Norrie has been in a relationship with Jacobi for six years, and he found the best opportunity to ask her the question during their recent outing to South Africa, where Norrie was born.

Norrie shared on Instagram the update as he got engaged to his long-term partner in South Africa. Jacobi captioned the post, “A special moment on our trip in South Africa. Cheers to a beautiful life together with my best friend. (Note: real engagement ring to come).”

The couple have been together since 2019 after meeting at Flushing Meadows in the same year. Since then, Louise Jacobi often gets spotted at Norrie’s matches on the tour.

Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova

Russian tennis star Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova announced her engagement to her boyfriend, Mathias, during her trip to the Maldives last month.

The couple has been officially dating for two years. Pavlyuchenkova made her love interest public after posting pictures with her boyfriend for the first time at the 2023 US Open.

The 34-year-old took to Instagram and posted a picture with her boyfriend. In the caption, he only added a white emoji.

While speaking to TENNIS.com during a recent interview last year, she said, “I’m so grateful because he’s been super supportive pushing me through. He’s the one who believes in me most, even more than I do. That helps and that’s very important for me, especially at this stage of my career.”

Venus Williams

Tennis veteran Venus Williams also shared pictures with her fiancé, Andrea Preti, on Instagram recently. She reportedly started dating Preti in 2024, and they initially decided to keep their engagement private before Williams made her return to professional tennis at the Mubadala Citi DC Open, where she stunned Peyton Stearns in the first round.

In the caption of the post, Venus Williams added the date of her engagement with her partner, “Engaged 1/31/25”.

In July earlier this year, she told former Australian tennis star Rennae Stubbs about Preti, “My fiancé is here and he really encouraged me to keep playing. There were so many times where I just wanted to coast and kind of chill.” Andrea Preti is an Italian actor who was raised in Denmark.
