Indian tennis star Rohan Bopanna and partner Aldila Sutjiadi of Indonesia are set to face Bopanna’s men’s doubles partner Matthew Ebden and his mixed doubles partner Barbora Krejcikova in a highly anticipated mixed doubles quarter-final match at US Open 2024.

Bopanna and Sutjiadi staged a remarkable comeback in their round of 16 match, overcoming a 0-6 first-set loss. Despite their limited experience as a pair, both players are well-established doubles specialists.

The 44-year-old Bopanna has enjoyed recent success in men’s doubles, winning his first grand slam title with Ebden at the 2024 Australian Open. However, his mixed doubles results have been less impressive since the retirement of former partner Sania Mirza.
