US Open 2024: Rohan Bopanna/Aldila Sutjiadi vs Taylor Townsend/Donald Young preview, prediction and live streaming details

Rohan Bopanna storms into US Open 2024 semifinals for the first time since 2015.
Rohan Bopanna registered one of his most memorable triumphs alongside Aldila Sutjiadi in the US Open 2024 quarterfinals, defeating his men’s doubles partner and the fourth seeded Matthew Ebden and Barbara Krejcikova in three sets to advance.
The Indo-Indonesian duo began slowly, with the Indian veteran being broken in his very first serving game but they staged a fascinating comeback in the fifth game breaking back on Ebden’s serve, to level terms.
Having forced a tiebreaker after trailing in the opening set, Bopanna-Sutjiadi did extremely well at the beginning to gain a substantial lead and clinch the first set. Krejcikova struggled with her serves which aided Bopanna and Sutjiadi.
The fourth seeded pair, however, struck back in the second set, triumphing in dominant fashion (6-2). The stage was set for a deciding tiebreaker and a semi-final berth was at stake. And it was the 44-year-old Bopanna and 29-year-old Sutjiadi who took their chances early on to gain a stunning 6-0 lead.
The Aussie-Czech pair did give their opponents a real scare by nearly levelling the score, but Bopanna used his experience to seal the match, causing an upset and equalling his best performance in a mixed doubles at the US Open.
