Watch: Stephen Curry visits US Open; receives autograph from Jannik Sinner

Stephen Curry was gifted a racket during his visit in US Open 2024.

The final grand slam of the season, US Open 2024 saw Stephen Curry being one of the spectators and an avid fan of tennis. He marked his attendance during the women’s singles final between Aryna Sabalenka and Jessica Pegula. The NBA legend accompanied his wife, Ayesha Curry on his visit to Flushing Meadows. His attire matched colors with his wife. Curry wore a white half sleeve shirt with black vertical stripes, and pants with the similiar fashion.

Curry paid his visit to Jannik Sinner who congratulated him on winning the Olympic gold for the USA in men’s basketball at Paris. The Golden State Warriors point guard had brought with him a tennis inspired basketball with him. He requested Sinner for an autograph as the Italian was taken aback by the humble gesture.

The American then visited Jessica Pegula who was practicing on the courts. She too gave her autograph to Curry. The duo had earlier met at Paris during the Olympics. He then met his final guest, Aryna Sabalenka and took a picture with her team. He wished the Belarusian player luck for the final. She and Sinner went on to win the final at US Open 2024 as Curry’s wishes played its part for them.

The 36 year old proceeded to pose with the Olympic gold with his wife. He was given a racket with his brand logo in it. Curry was surprised to receive the gift and admired the racket.

Jessica Pegula reveals her husband’s iphone name connection with Stephen Curry

The US Open 2024 saw Curry meeting the stars of the game as he also got to know a hardcore fan. It was Pegula’s husband, Taylor Gahagen. She revealed that Gahagen has kept his name on the iphone as ‘Stephen Curry’. The tennis star’s better half also got to chat with Curry and went on to reveal the same to his idol as stated by Pegula.

Curry would have hoped for Pegula to lift the title at New York as it was also his debut appearance at the event. Nevertheless, he will try to cheer the players again by meeting them in the upcoming events.
