US Open 2025 Mixed Doubles: All you need to know about prize money

A massive pay cheque of $1M will be awarded to the US Open 2025 Mixed Doubles winning team.

The US Open has turned every tennis fan’s dream into reality, as this year’s mixed doubles will feature top-ranked men’s and women’s singles stars competing for the trophy and a lucrative prize purse.

This decision has been heavily criticised, as doubles specialists will no longer be allowed to enter the event. However, some last-minute shuffling is on the cards, due to the proximity of the mixed doubles event to the finals of the Cincinnati Open.

The players in question are ATP’s top two players, Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz. The World No. 1 was set to pair up with Emma Navarro, but the American backed out, deciding to compete in Monterrey instead, leaving Sinner without a partner as of now.

The pair that has garnered the most attention is Emma Raducanu and Carlos Alcaraz. The two have openly praised each other in the past, and fans often support them due to their friendly chemistry and charm, with dating rumors brewing over the past few weeks. As former US Open champions, they promise to deliver exciting tennis and global entertainment.

Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic is set to return to action, having missed the entire North American Swing and hard-court preparation. Iga Swiatek, who is on the rise, will partner with Casper Ruud, while the exciting Russian duo of Mirra Andreeva and Daniil Medvedev is certain to make their presence felt.

Another interesting pairing to watch out for is Elena Rybakina and Taylor Fritz, who had won an exhibition event together a few months back at the Eisenhower Cup 2025.
