In the WTA cateogry, French Open 2025 semi-finalist Lois Boisson, Bianca Andreescu, Sara Errani, Tamara Zidanšek, Petra Martić, Jule Niemeier, and Linda Fruhvirtová are expected to make a bidding for the main draw.

Unfortunately, there will be no Indian participation in the singles event at this year’s US Open.

It has been a dramatic fall for India’s ace tennis star Sumit Nagal, who quickly went from earning direct main draw qualifications to key tournaments including the US Open 2024 and the Australian Open 2025, to now being ranked outside the top 300 rankings.
