China Open 2026: Live streaming, TV channel, where & how to watch?

Elena Rybakina begins her reign as World No. 1, while Novak Djokovic returns to Beijing after 11 years.

The China Open 2026 will feature a combined ATP 500 and WTA 1000 tournament at the National Tennis Center in Beijing. The men’s competition runs until October 6, while the women’s event concludes on October 11.

Top seed Alexander Zverev of Germany, fresh from winning his second US Open title, will begin his campaign against Great Britain’s Cameron Norrie.

The absence of reigning champion Jannik Sinner of Italy will be felt, but Novak Djokovic‘s return is the major talking point. The 39-year-old is a six-time champion with a perfect 29-0 record in Beijing, and he returns for the first time since 2015.

The Serbian starts against Portugal’s Nuno Borges and could face Zverev in the quarter-finals. Second seed Felix Auger-Aliassime of Canada will have an immediate opportunity to avenge his recent US Open defeat against Russia’s Karen Khachanov in the opening round.

Daniil Medvedev, Jakub Mensik, Alexander Bublik, Alex de Minaur and Flavio Cobolli are among the notable names to watch in the bottom half of the men’s draw.

The women’s event is the second-to-last WTA 1000 of the season. Newly crowned World No. 1 Elena Rybakina and several other stars make their first appearances since the US Open. Elena is the top seed, with Aryna Sabalenka second and Coco Gauff of the USA third.

Mirra Andreeva, Linda Noskova, Elina Svitolina, Karolina Muchova and Iga Swiatek round out the top eight. Reigning champion Amanda Anisimova will also miss the event, joining Jessica Pegula, Marta Kostyuk and others who pulled out of the Beijing Masters.
