Iga Swiątek kicks off her US Open 2026 on Monday against China’s Wang Xiyu, and the gap between these two on paper is pretty hard to ignore.
Swiątek sits at No. 8 in the world, while Wang is way back at No. 80, and their head-to-head hasn’t been close either, with Świątek winning both of their previous meetings, the most recent one coming at the 2024 Olympics.
